We are an adult condominium community association established in 2004. Our community consists of 62 units in 31 buildings plus a “Cottage” and a pump house on 55 acres enclosed in protected wetlands. We have our own state monitored pump house fed by two wells and managed by Hampstead Water. Our association is managed by Next Gen Property Management. We have a Board of Directors consisting of a President, President Elect, Secretary and Treasurer, and up to 3 additional directors that oversee our buildings, common areas, and finances.
We have a Welcome Committee to introduce new unit owners to our Association and the documents and procedures.
Our Ombudsman Committe is tasked with providing information concerning recreational, educational, social, medical and other opportunities in the Windham area.
Our most active and rewarding committee is our Landscape Committee. They are responsible for beautifying and maintaining our 7 garden areas.
Because we have no clubhouse, we have to be creative about our social activities.
We have over a half dozen canopies that we setup in our parking lot for these events, such as meetings and cookouts including an occasional bar-b-que. This year we had our first Christmas in August event.
Each January we go to Wasabi Steakhouse.
We’ve had a catered breakfast at our gazebo.
The parties that we have held at the Windham Senior Center include Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, Birthday’s and Anniversary.
We’ve been to Parker’s Maple Barn, a sleigh ride, duck tour in Boston, and lunch at the Canterbury Shaker Village.
We’ve done Christmas Caroling in our area and held a couple of Christmas tree events. We have done snowshoeing to the Rail Trail.
We used to bowl every Wednesday with dining afterwards. Now the ladies play cards while the men play pool.
We had golf outings at a number of the local courses. For a number of Sunday’s we walked the Windham Rail Trail to the Windham Village for breakfast and back to a total of 7 miles.
