The Hadleigh Woods Community Water System (HWCWS) ID# 2542160 is a condominium owned water system and consists of 62 units. The water facilities consist of two bedrock wells, a pump house with a 25,000-gallon atmospheric storage tank (for domestic and fire prevention purposes), various water conditioning equipment, pumps, meters, and a standby generator.

During 2020 & 2021 there were significant upgrades, additions, and changes of the equipment in the pump house. The water conditioning tanks were replaced with enhanced controls. A new booster pump with associated piping was added along with new drive motors to reduce energy costs associated with the operation of the much larger system pumps.

A new modern control system was installed to optimize the operations of the system. In addition, a new web-based monitoring system was installed to constantly monitor operations of the systems. This system will send out text messages and emails to the System Operator and a few volunteer Owners in the event of malfunctions in the operations in the pump house.

Hampstead Water has been our System Operator since 2010 and performs all the required maintenance, water testing, and compliance requirements for the State of New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.

A cadre of Volunteers takes care of the filling of the salt tank and maintaining a clean environment in the pump house which results in great savings for the Association.
